March 8, 2024 Streetscape Update

Despite one rain day, our Downtown Streetscape crews have been hard at work this week!

They’ve installed electrical conduit near the courthouse plaza and continued installing the 2 inch water services to businesses between Cabarrus Ave and the Midblock Crosswalk. Sidewalk crews are also continuing to grade and install the sidewalks on Union St, south of Barbrick Ave and are working on framework for the new landscaping bed edges between Barbrick Ave and the Midblock Crosswalk.
