Downtown Streetscape crews started installing new Water Services connecting to the newly installed 16″ Water Main on Union Street. They began working at the Corban Ave intersection and will continue installing services working north towards the midblock crosswalk. This work will continue into next week. Please be aware there may be some temporary disruptions to the sidewalks as they connect the service lines and new meter boxes at the businesses.
The County has also installed their construction fencing on Corban Ave and Union St to begin the renovation of the 1975 Courthouse as the final phase of the Courthouse project. The sidewalk in front of the 1975 Courthouse is closed to pedestrian traffic and a temporary midblock crosswalk is open through the Streetscape Construction Zone to allow pedestrians to access the new Courthouse Plaza.
