Our Downtown Streetscape crews are ready to begin the next phase of infrastructure work between Cabarrus Ave. and the Midblock crosswalk. Crews are in the process of moving the fencing and beginning Monday, January 8, the construction fence will cover the area stretching from Barbrick Ave. to Cabarrus Ave. The road will now be closed starting at Cabarrus Ave.

Crews will begin infrastructure work in the blue zone shown on the map above and continue working on sidewalk improvements in the red zone.

As always, pedestrian access will remain open to our local businesses and free parking is available throughout the downtown area concorddowntown.com/parking
