This week, Streetscape crews poured concrete on the two north corners of Cabarrus Ave and Union St. Brick paver crews are scheduled to complete these two areas next week.
The conduit is now fully installed at Corban Ave and Union St. Crews also graded the two remaining corners of the intersection and will pour concrete next week.
Core drilling for flag poles and road signs is occurring throughout the work zone, and wire pulling for the light poles continues.
Weather permitting, Union St south of Corban Ave will be milled and paved. However, temperatures must consistently reach the 40s for this work to happen.
