What have crews been up to this week?

Crews have been hard at work this week on the Downtown Streetscape project. Work is finishing up on the new sewer lines and crews anticipate beginning water line work early next week. The crosswalk at Barbrick Ave. is anticipated to reopen on Tuesday, March 7. Two additional solar light poles were installed on Union St. City transportation crews are monitoring and adjusting signals to ease congestion during construction. Southbound drivers on Union St. may now make left turns onto Cabarrus Avenue.
