Since our last update, Streetscape crews installed stamped crosswalks at Barbrick and Market, Barbrick and Spring, and Corban Ave intersection, and are now working on the Cabarrus Ave intersection. After today, two stamped crosswalks remain at the midblock near the Avett Brothers Mural and Kilarney Ave. ADA ramps and concrete pours were also completed at Corban Ave.

Electric and fiber crews continue to pull wire throughout the Streetscape with most of the remaining work between Cabarrus Ave and Corban Ave.

Finishing touches are underway, including pressure washing sidewalks and installing the new drinking fountain near Killarney Ave. Depending on the weather (it looks like we’ll get some rain next week), furniture will be installed next week.
