Rorschach, Gestalt & Experience

Since 2010 Eric has utilized this painting technique with the Rorschach inkblot test alongside the Gestalt psychological principle which denotes a visual acuity: the viewer may perceive a series of shapes as repeating, changing or moving. As the results will vary depending on color choices, mark-making or other visual elements, the use of the Rorschach adds elements of texture, depth & layering which can be achieved in many different applications of media.

You will be working with wet media so we recommend the individual either goes in with idea of how much negative space they would like to leave for going back once the initial layers have dried to add more details using illustration media.

This will be an interactive night to put your creativity to the test!
