This week, Downtown Streetscape crews started pouring a base layer of asphalt on Union Street from the Midblock to Corban Avenue. They also installed ADA ramps on sidewalks along Barbrick Avenue and Market Street. Getting the first layer of pavement down prior to the expected rain over the weekend helps protect the stonework.
Next week, crews will continue working misc. concrete work as well as work on the Courthouse Plaza connection on Union Street and, weather permitting, complete the base layer asphalt on Union Street and Barbrick Avenue.
