This week, Streetscape crews made progress on the new 16″ water main installation, north of Cabarrus Ave towards the Library.

At the Cabarrus Ave intersection, the first layer of asphalt has been poured and grading/formwork for the curbs is installed.

On the east side of Union Street between the mid-block and Cabarrus crews installed brick pavers. On the west side, crews installed formwork and performed grading for new sidewalks.

Tropical Storm Debby slowed things down yesterday, but crews are back out working hard today!
