This week, Streetscape Crews completed the fifth heavy-duty driveway installation between Cabarrus and Killarney. They also installed the base layer of asphalt from Cabarrus to Killarney and started pouring sidewalks at Cabarrus Ave working north toward Killarney.
Grading and stone installation on the sidewalk near the courthouse are complete, and the final lift of asphalt between the Courthouse Plaza and Corban is scheduled for Monday, November 18.
Most of the electrical wire pulling has also been completed between Corban and Cabarrus.
Weather slowed things down a little today but crews will be back to work tomorrow. Next week, they plan to continue working on sidewalks in preparation for the Concord Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Christmas Parade.
