This week, new curb and 300 tons of stone were installed from Cabarrus to Killarney. Irrigation was also installed up to Killarney Ave; the backflow connection will be made next week to complete that work. Four of five driveway aprons have been installed north of Cabarrus Ave, and tree grates are set in the sidewalk areas in preparation for sidewalk pours.
Next week, asphalt paving and sidewalk work will continue north of Cabarrus Ave.
Near the Courthouse crews installed two light pole foundations and will work on tying in conduit today. Electricians are also working on pulling wire throughout the work zone.
