This week, crews closed the Killarney Intersection to continue water line work to the existing connections at Killarney Avenue. This work is expected to wrap up at the end of next week. After that crews will install the final two water services for the project!
Conduit installation continues working on the west side of Union Street N towards Killarney. Concrete work at the NW corner of the Cabarrus Avenue Intersection and a few miscellaneous concrete installations south of Cabarrus Avenue were completed.
Demo crews completed demolition on the 1975 Courthouse sidewalk and started excavating a trench for the new electrical conduit.
Work was cut short this week due to heavy rain and high winds from Tropical Storm Helene.
