This week on Union Street, infrastructure crews completed three 2″ water services in their current work zone between Cabarrus Avenue and the Library.

Sidewalk crews poured 250 ft of sidewalk and 275 LF of landscape edge on the west side of Union Street South and started installing brick pavers. They also installed 500 LF of the curb between the midblock and Cabarrus Avenue on both sides. Now that the curb is in place crews will continue work on the roadway pouring asphalt next week and sidewalk crews will continue concrete and brick paver installation.
