February 23, 2024 Streetscape Update

This week, Downtown Streetscape Crews continued installing new water services, soil cells, and sidewalks. Soil cell installation is now complete from the Midblock Crosswalk towards Corban Ave on the west side of Union Street S. The east side will be installed next.

Next week, electric crews will install conduit and light pole foundations on the east side of Union Street near the Cabarrus Center. At the same time, crews will work on new water services on the west side of Union towards Cabarrus Ave.
