Crews are finishing up the remaining 16″ main water line work within this phase of the Streetscape project and will begin testing the line next week!
Next, crews will move back to the area between Barbrick Ave. and Corban Ave. to work on installation of the new storm drainage.
Next month crews are expected to return to the main water line work at the intersection of Union St. and Corban Ave. Through traffic will remain at this intersection with traffic control measures in place during construction. Once water line work in this intersection is complete crews can start working on new water services for the current work zone.
Construction fencing is planned to move north mid-summer to begin water line and storm drainage work in the section of Union St. between Cabarrus Ave. and the Midblock.
