This week, Downtown Streetscape crews completed the conduit installation between Corban Ave and Cabarrus Ave. They also installed a line-stop to isolate the water in the Cabarrus Ave intersection so crews can begin removing existing water lines and installing the new lines.
Our City Electric Systems crews installed temporary lighting to keep the Cabarrus Ave intersection well-lit during construction.
Next week, crews will continue working on the landscape drains and pouring sidewalks between the Midblock and Cabarrus Ave. They will also work in the Cabarrus Ave intersection installing the new 16″ water line.
