Central United Methodist Church (UMC) is a congregation of disciplined Christians committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ through our hospitality, worship, nurture, and service. We welcome guests into our church, share with them the good news of Jesus Christ, prepare people for ministry, and send forth persons into mission throughout the world.

Serving up tradition - in a cup or a cone - for more than 80 years. Taste a bit of nostalgia along with 25+ flavors including Moon Pie, a signature flavor inspired by the sweet Southern chocolate graham cracker cookie with marshmallow filling. The 1950s style shop also features Sliced Lemon, Rum Raisin, and Butter Pecan, among other delicious flavors, milkshakes, and build your own ice cream sandwiches.

We make all of our chocolates, desserts, and cakes in house. We make over 100 different varieties of chocolates and desserts, and make just about any cake flavor you would like. You can special order any of our desserts and chocolates.

Carolina Courts is Charlotte's premier basketball, volleyball, and pickleball facility. We offer year-round programs in two conveniently located facilities in Concord and Indian Trail, NC.

The house of prayer in Concord is voluntarily “staffed” by the church in Concord and is open for the whole city to come in and experience the presence of God. Prayer and worship gatherings are usually one-hour sets which our dispersed throughout the week.

The Cabarrus Arts Council was founded in 1980 in response to the North Carolina Arts Council's plan to establish a local arts council in every county. In 1982 the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners selected the arts council to serve as its Designated County Partner, receiving and distributing Grassroots funding from the state and the state arts council.
